The Collectio Bobbiensis of Leo's (440-461) letters is preserved in a single manuscript: Milano, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, C. 238 inf. Though now part of a codex that primarily contains letters of Popes Gregory (590-604), the collection previously existed as an independent codex as folio 141r makes clear: There, the table of contents - that lists more letters than are actually included in the manuscript - bears the heading: Incipiunt capitula de his quae continentur in hoc codice. The collection is most likely based on the Collectio Grimanica of Leo's letters.
