The Collectio Bobbiensis of Leo's (440-461) letters is preserved in a single manuscript: [[Milano, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, C. 238 inf.|Milano, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, C. 238 inf]]. Though now part of a codex that primarily contains letters of Popes Gregory (590-604), the collection previously existed as an independent codex as evidenced on folio 141r: There, the table of contents - that lists more letters than are actually included in the manuscript - bears the heading: ''Incipiunt capitula de his quae continentur in hoc codice''. The collection is most likely based on the Collectio Grimanica of Leo's letters.
