- Roma, BNC, San Onofrio 42 is a paper manuscript saec. XVIII that has nothing to do with Gratian.
- Roma, BNC, Sess. 42 is a parchment codex (saec. XIV) containing mainly writing of St Bernard.
- Perhaps even a confusion with Roma, BNC, Sess. 43 which contains a Summa decretorum?
