München, Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, Clm 3853 is a codex of 318 folios, written saec. X2/2 in Southern Germany; long lines. It contains a rich collection of canon law, penitential material, and royal capitularies taken from a wide range of sources. The same (?) collection is found in Heiligenkreuz, Stiftsbibliothek, 217 and Paris, BnF, lat. 3878. The first 128 folios have parallels to München, BSB, Clm 3851.

The date is controversial (10th or 11th c., perhaps even 11/12th c.?).

On fol. 41r-43v there is a small collection of 12 canons (Collectio XII canonum). Some canons may have been taken from Burchard.
