Copies of individual books of Burchard are relatively common, above all copies of book 19.

Given the large number of manuscripts that contain some for of Burchard, such manuscripts that never contained more than one or two (rarely three or four) books of the Liber decretorum are treated differently from (once) complete copies (see Category:Manuscript of BU), smaller fragments (see Category:Burchard fragment), or abbreviations (see Category:Manuscript of Burchard abbreviation).
