List of Breviarium extravagantium manuscripts
The following is a work-in-progress list of known (to Danica Summerlin) manuscripts of Bernard of Pavia's Breviarium extravagantium. It takes as its starting points Kuttner's Repertorium and its various additions by Kuttner, Stickler, Fransen, Bertram, and others, and Gero Dolezalek's Manuscripta Juridica.
The list is divided into four sections: full(-ish) copies, meaning anything reasonably substantial even if incomplete; very partial copies (i.e. up to a quire, including flyleaves); lost copies; and 'under investigation', which normally means that the manuscript is listed somewhere (such as on the Biobibliographical Guide, in the literature, or in a manuscript catalogue) but either further due diligence is required to make sure that it really is a copy of the Breviarium, or something doesn't quite seem right and so it needs checking before it can be confirmed. As things progress, the plan is that the final section of the list should get shorter.
The sigla and type refer to the work of Gérard Fransen. In the early 1960s, Fransen published two critical pieces on the Breviarium, in which he outlined three stages of its composition. The earliest manuscripts - which themselves are not uniform - were declared the Σ-group. The next group contained some additions but were not the final version became the φ-group. As most manuscripts were French, Fransen also referred to this as the 'French' group. The most recent set of manuscripts, or the 'classic' group, were the Λ-group. Between each set of manuscripts, moreover, Fransen identified 4 types of intermediary manuscripts that for whatever reason did not quite fit into his schematic. These are signalled below as 'I1-I4', but each of these manuscripts is itself distinct.
Fransen never published the final outcome of his research into the Breviarium: in 1961, he published a preliminary list of 38 manuscripts, their sigla and type, but the 1965 follow-up ('La tradition manuscrite de la "Compilatio Prima"'), Fransen only mentioned select manuscripts.

Antonio García y García identified six sets of flyleaves in Toledo manuscripts, which he suggested reflected a single Breviarium manuscript. As sections of Book 2 are repeated, however, it suggests at least two manuscripts.
