Author Anders Winroth

London, British Library, Harley 3256 is a copy of Gratian's Concordia discordantium canonum (siglum: Lh.). The composite manuscript contains leaves of different ages, the largest portion being from the twelfth century. In the fourteenth century, the manuscript was prepared to function as a pecia exemplar rented out in Paris by the librarius Alanus Britannicus. A drawing of him appears on fol. 98r.

Note that Mirabile lists the first two codicological units as two seperate entries in its list of Gratian manuscripts (here).
