It contains JE 2003, a letter "forged entirely in the style of Pseudo-Isidore"; together with Vercelli, Biblioteca Capitolare, CXLIII, the Bamberg fragment may be the earliest witness of the independent circulation of JE 2003 (Jasper, Early letters p. 94).
