The faculty of medicine of the University of Montpellier has its own library, which is part of the Bibliothèque interuniversitaire; it used to be called , and held among other collections a collection of medieval manuscripts. By 2024, the latter seem to be part of the BU Historique de médecine which is separate Médecine UPM. The BU Historique de médecine according to its homepage is closed until 2026.
