Fragment (one double leave) of an Italian manuscript written in Italy in the second half of the tenth or the early eleventh century according to Hoffmann, Bamberger Handschriften p. 167. It contains JE 2003, a letter "forged entirely in the style of Pseudo-Isidore"; together with Vercelli, Biblioteca Capitolare, CXLIII, the Bamberg fragment may be the earliest witness of the independent circulation of JE 2003 (Jasper, Early letters p. 94).
