Alençon, Bibliothèque municipale, 135 contains the first version of the Collectio Tripartita. It is manuscript A in the Brett/Nowak edition.

The manuscript from St Evroul was written saec. XII 1/2 in long lines. In part related to Berlin, SBPK, Hamilton 345 (= H) and Paris, BnF, lat. 4282 (= Q) – it has related dislocations in Tripartita A2.3-4 and A2.26 - but more idiosyncratic. It lacks some of HQ’s peculiarities and frequently agrees with T (= København, Kongelike Bibliotek, Thott 555 4°) or O (= Oxford, Bodleian Library, D’Orville 46) against them, though O has often been altered later. The scribe frequently confuses 's' and 'x' or breaks off in mid-word.

The manuscript is not digitized, only parts of fol. 1 and fol. 12r are: https://bvmm.irht.cnrs.fr/consult/consult.php?reproductionId=11789
