The Collectio Teatina was described by Maassen, Geschichte, p. 526 as one of his four Italian collections of the sixth century (Collectio Sanblasiana, Collectio Vaticana in Vat. lat. 1342 , Collectio Teatina, Collectio Justelliana). The Teatina is extant only in Città del Vaticano, BAV, Reg. lat. 1997.
