Note that the Royal Library of Belgium today uses the name "KBR" as an contraction of "Koninklijke Bibliotheek" and "Bibliothèque royale". It is often referred to by the name of the (main) library building which is named after King Albert I ("Albertina", "Bibliothèque Albert Ier" etc.), but the official name of the library itself is "Koninklijke Bibliotheek" / "Bibliothèque royale".
