Clarification needed
I'm not quite sure what exactly you are asking for because to me it reads more like an additional category than a sortkey (and what you added for the vatican libraries were categories and not sortkeys which all would be something like DEFAULTSORT). So what I'd do right now is to write a bot which goes through all categories in Category:Manuscripts by library and adapts the category to be [[Category:Manuscript by library|CITY]] instead SStark (talk) 16:04, 20 March 2025 (CET)
