The Stadtbibliothek at Frankfurt (not to be confused with the modern Stadtbücherei, ISIL: DE-277) was a library established in 1668 which after World War II merged with the university library. The Stadt- und Universitätsbibliothek, as the new library was known, in turn merged with the Senckenberg library in 2005, and was renamed Universitätsbibliothek Johann Christian Senckenberg. Any manuscripts of the Stadtbibliothek today should be found in Frankfurt, Universitätsbibliothek.
