Brief collections of canons taken from the ''Dionysiana'' deal with the election and ordination of bishops and with episcopal privilege and immunity and the judicial procedures which must be observed when bishops are accused. Rudolf Pokorny associates the contents of the manuscript with two contested ordinations in the ecclesiastical province of Lyon. The manuscript Troyes 1064 was compiled for Hieronimus, who was ordained bishop of Belley in 933. | ||
