The capitula are part of Hincmar's De villa Novilliaco, a dossier on Neuilly-Saint-Front and how it was given to Reims, lost, and finally (in 876) returned. The capitula are a mix of canon law and royal capitularies. Two early medieval copies are known, Paris, BnF, lat. 4628A and 10748, plus a fifteenth-century apograph of the former (Paris, BnF, lat. 4631).
