This category contain all articles on holding institutes of all manuscripts covered by this Wiki. It should always serve as a complete list of all archives and libraries relevant for our project. To keep it up tp date, please create a new page for any holding institution not yet covered when creating a new article on one of its manuscripts.

It effectively is a complete list of all such institutions relevant for our project. For a map of almost all of them (except historical libraries), see [[User:Christof Rolker/map|here]].  
 
When creating a new article on an archive or a library, please use the [[Template:Infobox library]] and insert (apart from any information you see fit) the following paragraph:
