New entry for Hib (alpha)

I have split the "old" entry, as we should do with all pages covering more than one collection. I do not think that we have to split the Hib entry further by versions, but this is up for discussion. The categories are based on the alpha version as found in Wasserschleben's edition (Linda's HR). Christof Rolker (talk) 13:19, 14 August 2022 (CEST)Reply[reply]

Does this mean that this is a comparable situation to the one of Collectio II librorum/VIII partium? Because if so I'd adapt the description under the heading "Categories" accordingly. Or, if we want to use multiple keys for one page (Talk:Collectio Dionysiana II) this would be one of the applicable pages. SStark (talk) 17:53, 3 November 2023 (CET)Reply[reply]
There are two versions of the Hibernensis (called alpha and beta) that should have separate articles. However, as Linda used two keys for two nearly identical copies of the beta version, the latter article will have a main key (HS) and a secondary key which is used in the database but can otherwise be ignored (HT). The alpha version has the key HR. To make things more complicated, in the long run we hope to integrate @Roy's new edition, so we have to think about another key. We will see. For the time being, @SStark can you please mark all articles with multiple keys as "needs to be split", even if you are not sure that they really need to be split. This way, they will all be in the "known issues" category and get my attention when I look for things that need fixing. atb Christof Rolker (talk) 19:18, 3 November 2023 (CET)Reply[reply]
@Christof Rolker Ok, I will do the following (also drawing from Talk:Collectio Dionysiana II:
  • I will check every article where I at some point noticed the problem of multiple keys
  • If you already answered on the talk page that the article needs to be split I'll add that category where needed and remove any key from the categories
  • If you either answered that it shouldn't be split or it is a key with "No separate entries" I'll add the new category "has additional keys", make sure that there's no split-category, and also only one key mentioned in the categories
  • If neither is the case I'll add the split-category and again remove all keys from the categories
