Talk:Bibliography
issues as of April 2022: 1. It would be nice to have a standard citation ready for every entry: "author, short title". It works, but so far I've failed to auto-insert the author template. 2. Some of the links are not stable 3. Would it make sense to cross-link between the titles and the articles where they are quoted? Should be doable. Christof
Link from in-text citation to bibliography entry
One way to do it (apart from linking to an external Zotero database): define an output stlye that uses first name, last name, short title etc in the following way:
====== Lastname, ''Short title'' ====== Firstname {{Author|Lastname}}, Full title (year), link. (Cite as: <code><nowiki>{{Author|Lastname}}, [[Bibliography#Lastname,_Short title|''Short title'']] which will be displayed as Lastname, Short title, linking to this section of the bibliography.) </nowiki>
Lastname, Short title
Firstname Lastname, Full title (year), link. (Cite as: {{Author|Lastname}}, [[Bibliography#Lastname,_Short title|''Short title'']]
which will be displayed as Lastname, Short title, linking to this section of the bibliography.)
Agustín, Dialogi
Antonio Agustín, Dialogorum libri duo de emendatione Gratiani (1607). https://archive.org/stream/ita-bnc-mag-00002577-001#page/n8 (Cite as: {{Author|Agustín}}, [[Bibliography#Agustín,_Dialogi|''Dialogi'']]
which will be displayed as Agustín, Dialogi, linking to this section of the bibliography.) Christof Rolker (talk) 20:21, 15 December 2023 (CET)
