Paris, Musée Marmottan, Collection Wildenstein inv. M6269/192
Paris, Musée Marmottan, Collection Wildenstein inv. M6269/192 is listed as a copy of Gratian by Mirabile (here). However, the Wildenstein Collection consists of medieval miniatures, and M6269/192 is no exception. According to Bilotta, Décret de Gratien p. 6, Rusius had identified three leaves in the Wildenstein collection as part of the Pontigny copy of Gratian (see Auxerre, BM, 269); she cites the inventory numbers and M6260/182 and M6269/192 for the miniatures of C. 5 and 6, respectively, and refers to de Ricci, Census 2.1703 for more fragments of this famous codex discissus. While it is not entirely clear whether this is the case, Wildenstein inv. M6269/192 clearly is not a copy of Gratian but only a small fragment.
