Together with fragments kept at the University Library in Munich the present fragment is all that remains of a Northern Italian capitulary codex from the late 9th or early 10th century. The original manuscript primarily consisted of Ansegis' Collectio capitularium, supplemented by several individual pieces. The last and the youngest of these was Wido's capitulary of Pavia from 891 (BK 224). There is a close connection with Gotha, Forschungsbibliothek, Memb. I 84.
