Sotheby's on June 22, 1921, sold a copy of Gratian which is since unaccounted for. Its last known owner was Henry Yates Thompson. It is listed as "no. 66" in Thompson's collection by Melnikas, Corpus vol. 3 p. 1263; but see Mordek, Review of Melnikas p. 409: "früher H. Yates Thompson Coll. No. 88) (nicht 66)".
