Lincoln, Cathedral Library, MS 3 is composite manuscript containing a complete copy of the Liber Extra as part one. The 1989 catalogue describes it as follows: 204 parchment leaves, damaged by damp, 395 x 250 mm, written in two columns of 42 lines; the collation formula is A4 "(? - hard to collate)", 1-128, 1310, 14-178, 18-2010, 218, 2212/2312. the manuscript is composite; part 1 (maybe French) contains Decretales Gregorii with gloss of Bernard de Botone of Parma on fol. 4v-192v, part 2 (Italian) contains Novellae Innocentii IV with gloss of Bernardus Compostellanus iunior on fol. 193r-204v. "The gloss throuout is in an English hand."
