This Collectio Veronensis takes its name from its oldest witness, Verona, Biblioteca Capitolare, XXII (20), where it occupies fol. 83v-175r. It contains eleven papal letters from three popes, also transmitted (with some variation) in the Collectio Frisingensis I and the Collectio Quesnelliana. According to Schwartz, the collection originated in the Rome of Anastasius II (496--498).

The table of contents of the collection is also to be found in Bamberg, Staatsbibliothek, Msc.Can.4.

Not to be confused with other anonymous collections known as Collectio Veronensis.
