Città del Vaticano, BAV, Vat. lat. 4965 is a copy of the Collectio in Vat. lat. 4965 containing letters of Nicholas I and the Interpretatio synodi VIII generalis. As Perels pointed out, these materials (namely JE 2819 and c. 4 of Constantinople IV) were cited by Rather of Verona and his circle; given the provenance of Vat. lat. 4965 it may be closely related to the exemplar Rather had at hand.
