Paris, BnF, lat. 1564

From Clavis Canonum
Revision as of 13:52, 15 July 2024 by Christof Rolker (talk | contribs) (Additions based on Maassen)

The sole known copy of the Collectio Pithouensis, made by the nuns of Chelles in the late eighth century (or not much later). The collection fills the complete manuscript (fol. 1-136) in its extant, mutilated form; eight quaterions are missing, which must have contained the first 29 pieces of the collection and the beginning of no 30 (Maassen, Geschichte p. 604).
