The Codex (Venetus) Trivisanus or Trivisaneus contains a vast collection of charters (including papal letters) copied from various Venetian archives. It is the earliest of several copies of this collection dates from the early sixteenth century and belonged to Bernardo Trivisani; it was at Vienna for some time but today is kept in the Archivio di stato in Venice. it is regularly cited by its traditional name rather than by shelfmark.

The Codex Trivisanus has been used among other scholars by Pertz (when it was still in Vienna), Kaltenbrunner, Gundlach (via transciptions by Holder-Egger), but not Kehr, for their editions of papal letters; likewise, it has been used by MGH and RI scholars to study royal and imperial diplomas.
