The Excerptiones de gestis Chalcedonensis concilii are a highly selective and artly interpolated abbreviation of the acts of the Council of Chalcedon. They are attributed to Verecundus in the manuscripts, but as Zechiel-Eckes has argued convincingly, were produced in the ninth century by the Pseudoisidorian forgers.
