Two Collectiones Turonenses

There are actually two Collections from Tours. One is the well established Coll. Turonensis with papal letters etc. The other is a collection transcribed from Cambridge, Parker Library, 279 by Michael Elliot. The latter manuscript is from Tours and, hence, the collection was named Collectio Turonensis by Michael Elliot. This Turonensis has material that is closely related to the Hibernensis (yet, as far as I remember, Elliot suggests that this Coll. Tur. might have been a source for the Hibernensis.

So I'll change the wording of the article, but we will have to decide on an appropriate name of the "new" Turonensis. Clemens Radl (talk) 15:56, 23 November 2025 (CET)Reply
