The Catalaunensis II is a reworked version of the Collectio Catalaunensis I and like this first version was produded in early twelfth-century Châlons-en-Champagne. In addition to Catalaunensis I, the compiler used the same version (probably the same copy) of the Collectio X partium as did the compiler of the first version. The Catalaunensis II begins with a prologue similar to that of the Panormia. Like the Panormia, the books it is divided into are called partes. Like the first version it is extant in only one medieval copy.

The Collectio Catalaunensis II is not analysed separately here, but was used to fill in inscriptions missing in the Catalaunensis I. [239]
