The Ms Vallicelliana Tome XXI contains a derivate of the Collectio V librorum copied in a late 11th central Italian minusucule. The script resembles that used at the monastery of Sant’Eutizio near Nursia. 95 The canons are not numbered. Roger Reynolds published an analysis of the collection. The present analysis (RE) is based on his. Reynolds classifies the collection as a farrago. The formal source(s) of those canons which are not taken from the Collectio V librorum cannot be identified. The collection deals with the ministry of the sacraments and the administration of penance to both clergy and laity. The elementary nature of the collection suggests that it was compiled for a dependency of the monastery.
