Some excerpts of [[Burchard of Worms, Liber decretorum|Burchard of Worm's ''Liber decretum'']] were included in the original composition, from about half of his books. While this makes up the bulk of the manuscript, a few (lesser or better trained) hands have added songs and prayers at the very end, as well as a verse from pope Gregory the Great's famous ''Moralia in Iob''. The work also includes an added folio with a diagram of the ''Arbor iuris'', better known as a table of consanguinity. These mix of contents make Vat. lat. 1352 an interesting and insightful read, as some of the biggest works in canon law and theological commentary were associated with a minor canonical collection from close to two hundred years before. Manuscript Vat. lat. 1352 is a medium-sized eleventh-century codex and contains mostly canonical material (notably and most prominently the Quadripartitus). Some excerpts of Burchard of Worm's Liber decretum were included in the original composition, from about half of his books. While this makes up the bulk of the manuscript, a few (lesser or better trained) hands have added songs and prayers at the very end, as well as a verse from pope Gregory the Great's famous Moralia in Iob. The work also includes an added folio with a diagram of the Arbor iuris, better known as a table of consanguinity. These mix of contents make Vat. lat. 1352 an interesting and insightful read, as some of the biggest works in canon law and theological commentary were associated with a minor canonical collection from close to two hundred years before. This version of the Quadripartitus, furthermore, is one of three which includes all books of the collection. It also contains a small amount of beautiful capitals, two of which can be seen on fol. 5v visible on the side.
