München, BSB, Clm 14540 is a composite manuscript; the first part (fol. 1-157) was written in Northern Italy in the second half of the eighth century, the second part (fol. 158-245) was added in Sankt Emmeram saec. IX 2/4.
The first part contains (on fol. 1v-157v) one of two copies of the Collectio Ratisbonensis, a collection of letters of Leo I; the other manuscript, Wien, ÖNB, Cod. 829, is a copy of this manuscript. See Jasper, pp. 46-47 and Hoskin, Letters, pp. 345-346.
Part two contains various patristic excerpts (including Pseudo-Gregory and fol. the 177 r-219 r Actus Silvestri)
