Category:Manuscript in private collection

Selected Canon Law Collections, ca. 500–1234

Private collections in principle are treated like public libraries, archives, or museums; all major private collections (the Phillipps Collection, the Getty, and so on) are described in their respective article and have a category devoted to all manuscripts they hold (Category:Manuscript in Cheltenham, Phillipps Collection, and so on).

However, there are a number of (mostly historical) private collections on which only little is known; these collections have neither articles nor categories. Instead, all manuscripts held by these collections are are gathered in the repsent category.
