Codex Trivisanus
From Clavis Canonum
The Codex (Venetus) Trivisaneus or more commonly Codex Trivisanus contains a vast collection of charters (including papal letters) copied from various Venetian archives. It is the earliest of several copies of this collection. The Codex Trivisanus was written in the early sixteenth century and belonged to Bernardo Trivisani; it was at Vienna for some time but today is kept in the Archivio di stato in Venice. It is regularly cited by its traditional name rather than by shelfmark.
