			From 2018 to 2020, with generous support from the [https://www.gerda-henkel-stiftung.de Gerda Henkel Stiftung], we were able to improve the database and to hold a number of workshops bringing together scholars working on medieval canon law. Based on the feedback from these workshops, we decided to broaden the scope of the project, and now include all Latin canon law collections up to and including the ''[[Liber Extra]]''.

			In 2021, the Clavis Wiki went online, containing the latest version of the Clavis handbook. We chose the wiki format so that scholars worldwide would be able to improve existing descriptions and add new ones, namely on collections not coveres by the 2005 book version. Indeed, the number of articles on individual collections soon grew very considerably.

			Also, not only the collections but also individual manuscripts now have their own pages. Since 2024, this has become a very important part of the Wiki, with very numerous new articles on more than 3,000 canon law manuscripts. We have added new collections to the database, and update the description of the collections. To this end, we have set up the Wiki which contains individual pages for the collections and, increasingly, their manuscripts. Most content was lifted directly from the printed handbook, but gradually is added to and reworked by registered users of this Wiki. Clavis canonum is a database that was built by [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linda_Fowler-Magerl Linda Fowler-Magerl]. It is an analysis of a large number of canon law collections, giving the incipit, explicit, rubric, inscription, and some other basic information for every single canon they contain. The work was begun in the 1970s and after several earlier versions, Fowler-Magerl in 2005 published the database and a handbook in die MGH Hilfsmittel series.
