New York, Pierpont Morgan Library, MS M.0446 is a copy of Gratian's Concordia discordantium canonum; siglum: Ny.
Description
Membr.; 204 ff.; 440 × 270; Italia (Bologna); sec. XIIIin. Spazio riservato per l'iniziale incipitaria; scritture distintive e iniziali rubricate con jeux de plume. Il manoscritto è stato erroneamente ricondotto alla biblioteca del Petrarca. Nel XVII si trovava a Padova; nel 1640 è stato acquistato dal marchese Linterno per il suo museo di famiglia a Milano. In seguito è giunto ai Certosini di Garegnano (sobborgo di Milano) e dopo la soppressione del convento, nel 1799, è passato al duca C. Visconti Modrone. Nel 1834 è stato acquistato da quest'ultimo dall'ingegnere Giuseppe Bruschetti. Nel 1865 si trovava presso il libraio milanese Gaetano Schiepatti. È appartenuto al marchese Girolamo d'Adda, a C. Fairfax Murray. È stato acquistato da J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) da Alexandre Imbert nel luglio 1910.
