Manuscript BAV, Reg. lat. 979 of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana in Città del Vaticano, is a parchment manuscript from the second half of the 11th century, probably produced in Bruges. It contains [[Burchard of Worms, Liber decretorum|Burchard's ''Liber decretorum'']], augmented with Seligenstadt ({{Author|Jasper}}'s '''V2''').

The manuscript consists of 176 folios, written in Carolingian minuscule, with a two-column layout. The decoration is simple, consisting mostly of small red initials red initials, mostly only two lines high, chapter numbers in red, rubrics, otherwise little decoration.

The initials at the beginning of each book are simple and slightly taller than those used for the canons (5 lines on average). They are found at: 5r I; 30v E; 46r A; 64v B; 72r C; 76v I; 81v C; 85r Q; 93r N; 98r V; 106v Q; 113r V; 116r Q; 117r N; 118v E; 123r S; 126v M; 132r V; 135v E; 158v A.

Manuscript BAV, Reg. lat. 979 of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana in Città del Vaticano, is a parchment manuscript from the second half of the 11th century, probably produced in Bruges. It contains [[Burchard of Worms, Liber decretorum|Burchard's ''Liber decretorum'']], augmented with Seligenstadt ({{Author|Jasper}}'s '''V2''').

==Codicology==
The manuscript consists of 176 folios, written in Carolingian minuscule, with a two-column layout. The decoration is simple, consisting mostly of small red initials red initials, mostly only two lines high, chapter numbers in red, rubrics, otherwise little decoration.

The initials at the beginning of each book are simple and slightly taller than those used for the canons (5 lines on average). They are found at: 5r I; 30v E; 46r A; 64v B; 72r C; 76v I; 81v C; 85r Q; 93r N; 98r V; 106v Q; 113r V; 116r Q; 117r N; 118v E; 123r S; 126v M; 132r V; 135v E; 158v A.

On f. 84r there is a draft of an arbor consanguineitatis.

F. 135 has been partially removed.
